Age 84. Passed away Tuesday, Sept. 10, 1974 at Burlington Memorial Hospital. Mr. Tenhagen was born June 19, 1890 in Burlington to Joseph and Gertrude (Vessling) Tenhagen. On May l, 1923 he was married in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Burlington to Anna G. Richter who him in death Sept. 13, 1970. Following their marriage they lived at Rt. 3, Burlington and was a lifetime resident of the area. He was a retired farmer, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of the church.

Surviving are one son, Eugene J. Tenhagen: two brothers, John and William of Burlington. He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Burlington, the Rev. Monsignor J. Heim will officiate. Mr. Tenhagen will lie in state after 4 p.m. Wednesday (today) at the MC CARTHY KOENIG FUNERAL HOME 483 Milwaukee Ave. Burlington. Parish Vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. this evening. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
