Mrs. Bernard Richter, New Munster, dies

Mrs. Bernard Richter, 64, died Thursday in St. Catherine Hospital.

Alvina A. Toelle was born in Kenosha County, Jan. 22, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Toelle. She married Bernard Richter, May 21, 1918, in St. Alphonsus church and they made their home in New Munster, where she was a member of the church, Christian Mothers, and Altar Society.

Surviving her are her husband, Bernard, one son, Harold, New Munster, two daughters, Miss Ruth, New Munster, and Mrs. John (Dolores) Terry, Rt. 2. Salem. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; one brother, Ed Toelle, Rt. 3, Burlington, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Kretschmer, Mrs. Joe Robers, and Mrs. Caroline Smitz, all of Burlington.

RICHTER - Funeral services for the late Alvina A. Richter, of New Munster, Wis., will be held Monday, Aug. 12th at 10:00 a.m. from St. Alphonsus Church. Interment in church cemetery. Friends may call at McCarthy-Rueter Funeral Home, Burlington, after 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Parish rosary services 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
