Age 66. Passed away on Thursday, May 26, 1988, at St. Luke's In Racine. She was born in Rochester, WI, on September 9, 1921, to John and Ann (Beck) Kempken. Her early life and education was spent in Rochester. She was married at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church Waterford, on June 29, 1940, to Robert J. Sobbe. Following their marriage they lived in Burlington. She was a Housewife; also worked at Foster-Forbes, Belle City, Trim Mold and Sta-Rite, all of Burlington. Mrs. Sobbe was a member of St. Mary's Church in Burlington.

Surviving are her husband, Robert J. Sobbe of Burlington; two daughters and a son-in-law, Diane (Scott) Bacon, and Sally Kirk, all of Wonder Lake, IL; grandson, Jeffrey Bacon and granddaughter, Connie Bacon; two sisters, Mrs. Francis (Hildegarde) May of Burlington, Mrs. Robert (Marie) Kleinvehn, of Grafton, WI; one brother, Francis (Mary) Kempken of Rochester, WI. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence, Louis and Henry.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 28, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Mary's Church in Burlington, with Rev. Robert Gosma officiating. Interment will be at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Waterford. Friends may call at the SCHUETTE-DANIELS FUNERAL HOME, 157 S. Pine St., Burlington, this (FRIDAY) evening,. from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m., with Parish Vigil at 7:30 p.m.
