Roman Luke

Roman Luke, 75, Redding, Calif., died Tuesday (Dec. 16, 1997).

Born in Wheatland, he was the son of Werner Luke of Wheatland and Mary (Capello) Luke of Burbank, Calif.

Educated in Wheatland schools, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Upon returning from his tour duty, he lived in California.

Survivors include two sisters, Rose Kerkman of Union Grove and Joyce Gallaher Burbank, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert and William; and two sisters, Arlene Meyer of Brighton and Kathleen McCarthy of Burlington.
