Anna M. Kaskie, 90, of Canton, died Sunday, November 26, 1989 in the Canton-Inwood Hospital.
Anna Goeken was born Jan. 22, 1899, in West Point, Neb., and married Ollie Kaskie there on Feb. 24, 1925. They farmed near Rock Valley, Iowa. Her husband died Dec. 30, 1962. She moved to Canton in 1962.
Survivors include three sons: Frank, Sioux Center, Iowa; Paul, Rock Valley; and Albert, Steilacoom, Wash.; two daughters: Mrs. Alvin (Rose) Bowyer, Chicago; and Bernice Braaten, Canton; 29 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Frank, Scribner, Neb.; Anthony, Grand Island; and three sisters: Margaret Reudink and Katherine Hays, both of Vancouver, Wash.; and Justina Birginald, Rhinelander, Wis.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 in St. Dominic Catholic Church, Canton, with burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Rock Valley.
Visitation will begin today, Wednesday afternoon in Anderson Funeral Home, Canton, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. in the church.
