Ollie Kaskie, 67, dies Sunday p.m. after long illness

Funeral services for Ollie Kaskie, 67, a lifelong resident of the same farm west of Rock Valley, who died Sunday night at the residence after a long illness was at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St Mary's church here.

Rev R.W. Rienhart officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

The rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter funeral home.

Mr Kaskie was born February 2, 1895, at Rock Valley.

Survivors include the widow, Anna, four sons, Paul of Rock Valley, Francis of Hawarden; Davis of Columbus, Ga.; and Albert of Steilacoom, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Nels Braaten of Canton and Mrs. Alvin Bowyer of Chicago; a brother, Henry of Rock Valley, three sisters, Miss Teresa Kaskie of Rock Valley, Mrs. Joe Langon of Aurora, S.D. and Mrs. Lucille Friesen of Newark, N.J., and 22 grandchildren.
