Ralph B. "Bud" Gelhaus, 64, 1513 State Route 118, St. Henry, Ohio, Sunday, April 4, 1999 at the V.A. Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio of Leukemia.

He was born on April 22, 1934 to Henry and Philomena (Kramer) Gelhaus, St. Henry. On September 8, 1956 he married Mary Ann Kremer, Carthagena, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, 3 sons: Bill and Darlene Gelhaus, St. Henry, Ohio; and Ron and Judy Gelhaus, St. henry, Ohio; and Dan and Tina Gelhaus, St. Henry, Ohio; 3 daughters: Bonnie and Dan Paulus, Russia, Ohio; Karen and Rob Kerns, Springboro, Ohio; and Donna and Jules Soto, Glendale, Arizona; 3 brothers: Herb and Irma Gelhaus, Cincinnati, Ohio; Ed and Mary Ann Gelhaus, Coldwater, Ohio; and Norb and Peg Gelhaus, Sidney, Ohio; and sisters: Mary and Ray Herb, Ft. Wayne, Indiana; Lucille and Adrian Ramey, Hartford City, Indiana; and a brother-in-law: Jim Schaab, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was also survived by 19 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 sisters: Gettrude and Lillian.

He was a US. Army Veteran, an Independent Insurance agent and a farmer. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Fraternal order of Eagles, Coldwater, Ohio. and a Central Committee Man, Granville West.

Funeral Services were Thursday, April 8, 1999 at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial followed at the church cemetery. Calling hours were Wednesday and Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry, Ohio.
