Everything after the 1885 census record remains - to me - subject to doubt. I don't think it's wrong; I think it could be wrong. "John Burke" was a common enough name during this time to cast some doubt as to whether this John Burke is the John Burke. I have, however, been swayed enough to put the data (census records from 1900 and 1920 along with news article and death cert.
