WATERLOO

 

Herman E. Tribon, 74, of Buffalo, Mo., formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, July 11, from injuries suffered in a two-vehicle accident in Buffalo.

He was born May 27, 1928, in Black Hawk County, son of Franklin Herman Ernest and Alice Diercks Tribon.

He farmed until 1956, before going to work for Holt Monument Co. in 1958.

Survivors include: his wife, Frances; three daughters, Sharon (Darrell) Dill and Julie (David) Chastine, both of Buffalo, and Karen (Ken) Witt of Bolivar, Ma; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a sister. Helen Lovell of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Arthur; and a sister. Maxine Bennett.

Services: were Saturday at Grace Community United Methodist Church, with burial in Maple Lawn Cemetery, both in Buffalo. Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo, was in charge of arrangements.
