Ruby Ann Trebon 86, of Tucson, AZ, passed away October 11, 2013. Ruby was born in Chelsea, Iowa on February 11, 1927, daughter of Roy and Tillie Ryan. She attended Coe College and the University of Iowa. In 1948, she married Al Trebon. She and Al were parents of nine children. They lived for their children, making sure they had college educations. The surviving children are Larry (Lynn) of Whitefish Bay, Wisc.; Thomas (Angela) of Tucson; Mary Liebertritt (Kevin) of Tucson; John (Christine) of Flagstaff; Patty Hauser (David) of Marshalltown, Iowa; Sandy Pevarvik (Matt) of Denver; Theresa of Aseville, NC and Craig of Tucson. She is also survived by her husband, Louis Howitz; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with two great-grandchildren on the way. She was preceded in death by a son Randy, who died at two months; one grandson, Scott; her sister, Dorthea Bazyn and her husband, Al. Donations in Ruby's name can be made to the Beacon Foundation. A Funeral Mass for Ruby will be held Monday, October 14, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 5150 N. Valley View Rd., Tucson, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
