Norbert E. Koshatka, 25, of Wellman, died Wednesday near Kalona, as a result of a traffic accident.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Powell Funeral Home in Wellman with burial in the Wellman cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Newland will officiate.
Mr. Koshatka was born July 22, 1957, at Cresco to Edward and Ethel Ford Vachta. He graduated from Mid-Prairie School in 1975. He married Jean Kempt June 30, 1978, in Wellman He worked for the University of Iowa.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Kyle; parents; a grandmother, Mrs. Agnes Vachta of Protivin; two brothers, David of Davenport and Jim of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and two sisters, Doreen Van Dyke of Hills and Susie Joe Troyer of Wellman.
The family requests any memorial gifts be given in loving memory to Kyle, age 1.
