In Loving Memory of PAUL FRANCIS BERGER, JR. 1931 - 2007 Thursday, February 1, 2007, surrounded by his entire family, Paul's valiant heart stopped beating. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 yrs, Gretchen; and his children, Brad (Nancy), Brook, Robert (Julie), Heidi, Garrick, Lynette (Rodney), 14 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brother Peter (Eliane), sister Inez Marie SHCJ, and numerous nieces and nephews. Founder of Berger Bros., Paul was a successful and respected plastering contractor. Throughout his life he was also passionate about longboard surfing, handball, the "Cowboy Life", his beloved horse Easterling, Trojan football, and golf. He enjoyed the membership of the Jonathan and San Gabriel Country Clubs, Viaje de Portola, Las Tortugas, WWCCA, Holy Family Church, Santa Theresita, and a true patriot of this great country. Paul was a man of extraordinary courage. Blessed with compassion, generosity, humor, and an absolute zest for life, he left his family the legacy of a true gentleman. Via con Dios, Pablo. Te Amos.
