Leo J. Kotz, 84, of 825 S. Willow Ave., a retired finish carpenter, died Thursday, April 3, 1997, at McKennan Hospital.

Mr. Kotz was born July 17, 1912, in Dolton. He attended Bridgewater High School. He moved to Sioux Falls in 1941.

He married Eleanora Sutter on Sept. 16, 1945, in Sioux Falls. He was a self-employed finish carpenter.

He was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters: Frances DeBoer of El Monte, Calif.; and Clara Schulz of Sioux Falls.

Services begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Cathedral Chapel, with burial in St. Michael Cemetery.

Visitation begins at 3 p.m. Sunday at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home, with a Scripture Vigil at 7.
