Age 89. Passed away July 20, 1968 in the Racine County Hospital. Mrs. Krakofsky was born in Burlington, Wis. on Oct. 19, 1878 to the late John and Frances Richter Heiligenthal and spent her early life and was educated in Burlington. In Waterford, Wis. on Sept. 6, 1899, she was married to Ernest Krakofsky, who preceded her in death on July 26, 1941. Following their marriage they lived in Waterford and Burlington and she had lived in the Burlington area for the past 62 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Ladies Society (Women's Catholic Order of Foresters), Royal Neighbors and was a former member of the Order of St. Francis. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John (Emily) Trier, and Mrs. Theodore (Alvina) Stang, both of Burlington; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a half sister, Mrs. Eleanore Hofner, Milwaukee. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Gerald Schmitz officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the MCCARTHY RUETER FUNERAL HOME, 481 Milwaukee Ave., Burlington, this (Monday) afternoon after 4 oclock. The Rosary will be recited this evening, 8 oclock, in the funeral home.
