GEO. HEILIGENTHAL DIES WEDNESDAY
George H. Heiligenthal, for 23 years a resident of Burlington, died at his home in this city early Wednesday morning. Mr. Heiligenthal had been in ill health for over two years, but his last illness was of short duration and death came at 2 o'clock Wednesday morning.
George Heiligenthal was born in Lyons on July 2, 1863. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sebastian Heiligenthal. He grew to manhood on a farm, and May 4, 1891, was united in marriage to Elizabeth Arndt of Burlington. For many years they made their home on a farm six miles south of this city, moving to Burlington 23 years ago. After coming to Burlington, Mr. Heiligenthal followed the carpenter trade.
Mr. Heiligenthal is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Heiligenthal; two sons, Francis of West Allis and William of Burlington; one daughter, Hilda of Burlington, and one granddaughter, Joan Heiligenthal of West Allis. He also is survived by two brothers, Henry of Burlington and Joseph of Lyons.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church in this city, the Rev. Father J. A. Van Treeck officiating.
