Bernard Althoff

 

Bernard (Ben) Althoff, 69, died at Shady Lawn West Nursing Home Monday evening following a short illness.

Born in New Munster. Wis., on Aug. 22, 1901, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Althoff.

The family moved to Kenosha in 1912.

For many years Mr. Althoff was employed as a driver for the Wisconsin Fuel and Heating Co., retiring in 1958.

Mr. Althoff was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. John (Josephine) Johnson, and Sister Innocent of Sienadale, both of Kenosha, and Mrs. Anthony (Marion) Herres, New London, Wis.


ALTHOFF-Funeral services the late Bernard (Ben) Althoff, of Shady Lawn West, who died on May 10th, will be held on Thursday, May 13th at 9:30 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home and mass at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Interment in St. James Cemetery. Visitation at the Bruch Funeral Home after 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
