Formerly of New London, age 77, died Wednesday, July 10, 1985 in Kenosha. She was born December 19, 1907 in Kenosha, the daughter of Henry and Anna Althoff. She had been employed by New London Community Hospital. She was married to Anton Herres, January 11, 1957, and he preceded her in death on November 20, 1980. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: William and Maureen Ross, Rockledge, Florida; two sisters: Sister M. Innocent, Ontario, Oregon; Josephine Johnson, Kenosha; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Friday at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London with Rev. William Kuhr officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Stephensville. There will be no visitation. The Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
