Dorothy Schlax Peterson, 77, formerly of Kenosha, late of Minnetonka, Minn., died there Monday (Dec. 21, 1992).

Born August 4, 1915, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Katherine (Richter) Schlax.

She attended local schools and the College of St. Therese, Winona, Minn. She taught school in Illinois before marriage.

In August, 1940, in Kenosha, she married Kenneth Peterson.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Karen Jenni, Prescott, Ariz., Janet Youker, Wheaton, Ill., Eileen Maxwell, Hopkins, Minn.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leslie and Francis.
