79, of Phoenix since 1958, passed away peacefully at home on June 7, 2016. She was the youngest of 6 children of Archie and Hilda McClain, born November 11, 1936 in Sumner, Iowa. Iva was a much loved wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. Iva is survived by her daughters, Kim Downing and Terri Mickelson, 6 grandchildren; Jason, Natalie, Cody, Calli, Cooper, Sarah and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan and daughter, Brenda. Iva was a lifelong bookkeeper for a large local flooring company. Kim and Terri have fond memories of "Mother" loving to dance, shop, garden and hitting a casino or two with them. Iva's contagious smile made all that met her fall in love with her. She will be forever missed and remembered by her daughters as their best friend. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:00am at Chapel of the Chimes 7924 N 59th Ave Glendale, AZ.
