Willard G. Jr. "Sonny" Peterson, 70, of Strum passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
He was born July 13, 1938, the son of Willard Sr. and Alvina (Ketterhagen) Peterson.
Willard was united in marriage to Judy Johnsted; in this union they had five children, Randell Peterson, Jackie (Rick) Pahl, Tracy (Joe) Shelton, Christine (Joe) Hanson and Kelly (Allen) Falkner. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister; and several brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, with the Rev. George Olinske officiating. Interment with military honors conducted by the Cadott American Legion and VFW will be in Brooklawn Cemetery in Cadott.
Family and friends may call one hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.
