TOWN OF GOETZ
Gerald "Jerry" Peterson, 57, town of Goetz resident, died Monday, Jan. 26, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
He was born June 3, 1940, in the town of Sigel, the son of Willard and Alvina (Ketterhagen) Peterson. He grew up in the town of Sigel and did carpenter work. He had been a town of Goetz resident for the past several years.
Survivors include two sons, Gerald J. Peterson Jr. and Donald Peterson, both of Eau Claire; a daughter, Michelle Branstad of Rockford, Minn.; seven brothers, Edward, Ted and James of Cadott, Willard of Strum, Lavern of Merrillan, Roger of Twin Lakes, and Lenard of Wilmont; a sister, Dorothy Koch of Oxford; and two grandchildren, Josh and Petra Branstad.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Raymond; and two sisters, Roseann Green and Marion Bohman.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29. at the Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, with Father Thomas Crowley officiating. Spring burial will be in Brooklawn Cemetery, Cadott.
Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
