Edith Rossmiller

 

Edith Elizabeth Konst was born in Burlington, Wisconsin, April 27, 1887, the daughter of Anna and Herman Konst. She passed away at the Madison General Hospital on March 5, 1974 after a long illness.

Her early life was spent in Burlington and later in Chicago. She was married to Arthur Ball in 1909. To this union was born a daughter Gardis. Mr. Ball died in 1912. In 1915 she married George Rossmiller, who passed away in 1954. Three brothers also preceded her in death. The Rossmillers had been residents of Elroy since 1927/

She leaves to mourn her passing, her daughter, Gardis Ball Hoercher, a sister-in-law, Mrs. William Konst, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church, Elroy, at 2 p.m. on March 9, 1974 with Rev. David L. McRoberts officiating. Interment was in the Elroy cemetery.
