Former Businnessman, George Rossmiller, Dies At Lake Home

 

George A. Rossmiller padded away July 30, 1954, at his summer home on Lake Court Oreilles, at the age of 71 years. He was born at Burlington, Wisconsin on October 14, 1882, to Wilhelmina and George Rossmiller. He was the youngest of ten children. On Feb. 15, 1915 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Edith Ball and they made Burlington their home until 1922, when they moved to Chicago. In 1927 they moved to Elroy, where he was in business until he retired in 1946 on account of ill health.

He is survived by his wife Edith, a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Hoercher of Elroy, a sister, Mrs. Margaret Forge of Burlington, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Mr. Rossmiller was a charter member of the Rotary Club and was a man who was loved and respected by everyone who knew him.

Funeral services were held in Elroy on August 2nd at 2 o’clock from the Zenner and Haire Funeral Home, with Rev. Tomenendale officiating. Interment was in the city cemetery.
