Angela Marie Sims McCart went Home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, and to await her mother.

Angie was born December 30, 1956 in Waterloo, IA.

Surviving Angela is her father, Lewis Sims; sister, Eileen Smith; brother, Robert (Marybeth) Sims; and five nephews, Steven Smith, Christopher (Caren) Sims, Raymond Sims, David Sims and Gregory Sims.

She was raised in Melbourne, graduated from Florida State University, and moved to Pensacola in 1980, to be with her sister. She recently returned home to live and spend time with her parents, brother and nephews.

Angela was an artist and enjoyed painting for others. She loved gardening with her dad, sailing, family time, and her love of the Lord. She had two very special friends, Susie and Joe.

A Memorial Service will be held at Howard Futch Park 5:00 p.m. on Dec. 30, 2006. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to a local charity of your choice.
