Mrs. Breuer passes away

Mrs. James Breuer, 42, Sheldon, passed away at the Sheldon Community Memorial Hospital on Monday, December 18, following a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 21 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sheldon with Msgr. Cletus Keleher officiating. Interment was in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Sheldon. Rosaries were held at Vander Ploeg Funeral Homes in Sheldon. CCW Guild Rosary at 7:30 p.m. and Parish Rosary at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday.

Donna Margaret Keegan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Keegan of Doon, was born June 1, 1930 at Doon. She graduated from the Doon High School with the class of 1948. She was united in marriage to James Breuer on May 12, 1953 at Doon.

Surviving her death are; her husband James; 3 sons, James, Steven and William, all at home; 7 daughters, Mrs. Allen (Barbara) Chindlund, Storm Lake; Bonnie, Katherine, Theresa, Mary, Laura and Margaret, all at home; her mother, Mrs. John Keegan of Doon; 4 brothers, Joe and William Keegan of Doon; Patrick Keegan of Kansas City, Missouri; and John Keegan of Minneapolis; 3 sisters- Mrs. Mel (Janet) Wilton of Enid, Okla., Mrs. Louis (Connie) Tysver, Storm Lake; Mrs. Dean (Mary) Rosenberg, Garden City, Minn., and one grandson. She was preceded in death by her father.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. VFW Auxiliary, and the O'Brien County Easter Seal Chairman.
