Pat Keegan services held on Saturday

 

Funeral services for Kenneth "Pat" Keegan, 46, Kansas City, Mo., were held Saturday morning at St. Michael's Catholic church in South Sioux City, Nebr., with Rev. James E. Fitzgerald officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of the Jack Decker Funeral Home. Rosary was said Friday evening.

He died Thursday, June 12, in a truck mishap near Montgomery City, Mo.

Keegan was born March 19, 1934, in Doon to John and Frances Keegan. He grew up in Doon and attended high school there. Keegan served in the Marine corps for several years.

On December 29, 1964, he married Mary Ann Irons at South Sioux City and they moved to Kansas City that year. He was employed as a trucker for Intercontinental company. Keegan was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Veterans of Foreign Wars post at Rock Rapids and the Eagles club at Junction City, Mo.

Survivors include the widow; one daughter, Marta, and one son, Mark, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Frances Keegan, Doon; three brothers, Joe and Bill, both of Doon; and Jack, Edina, Minn., and three sisters Mrs Mel (Janet) Wilton, Enid, Okla., Mrs Louis (Connie) Tysver, Storm Lake, and Mrs Dean (Mary) Rosenberg, Lake Crystal, Minn.
