MRS. LOUISE (GERTRUDE) GETTLER

 

Mrs. Louise (Gertrude) Gettler, age 76, formerly of Water St., Chippewa Falls, died Saturday afternoon at the Eagleton Rest Home.

She was born April 3, 1899, in Fairbank, Iowa, daughter of Martin and Susan

(Tscheinz) Trebon. On Jan. 8, 1924, she married Louis M. Gettler.

Mrs. Gettler is survived by two sons, Louis and Bernard, both of Chippewa Falls; seven daughters, Mrs. Victor (Dorothy) Filgmiller, Mrs. Alred (Marie) Krause, Mrs. Eugene (Yvonne) Doucette and Mrs. Darlene Borton, all of Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Ed (Norma) Giveajna, Boyd, Mrs. Kenneth (Delores) Anderson, Cumberland, and Mrs. Robert (Carole) Marsolek, Rochester, Minn.; one brother, Bernard Trebon, Seattle, Wash.; and two sisters. Mrs. Raynord (Helen) Olson and Mrs. Dorwin (Rita) Badger, both of Eau Claire; 33 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, on Aug. 22, 1971; one son, Joseph; one daughters, Joyce; and her parents.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Notre Dame Church with burial in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Horan Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Monday. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
