Helen E. Olson, 82, formerly of 3657 Hallie Lane, passed away Monday, April 26, 1993, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
She was born to Martin and Susan (Hentz) Trebon, in Fairbanks, Iowa, March 12, 1911. She moved to Wisconsin at a young age and resided in the Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls area the rest of her lite. Helen married Raynord Olson in Hastings, Minn., Nov. 15, 1930. He passed away March 22, 1977. Helen was a wonderful cook, and had managed the cafeteria at National Presto Industries for many years before retirement in 1973.
Survivors include two daughters, Clarice Larson of Eau Claire, Rita Dennis of Wausau; four sons, Richard (Kitty) Olson and Kenneth (Dee) Olson, both of Eau Claire, Robert (Mary) Olson and Charles (Sue) Olson, both of Kenosha; two sons-in-law, Paul (June) Krippner of Tariffville, Conn., William Schoettle of River Falls; a sister, Rita (Dorwin) Badger of Mesa. Ariz.; a brother, Bernard (Marion) Trebon of Mesa, Ariz.; 29 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; special friends, Marie Shemick and Joe and Irene Gannon; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Evelyn (Paul) Krippner, Ione (William) Schoettle; a grandson, David Krippner.
Helen was a beautiful and loving wife, mother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Golden Funeral Home, and at 1 p.m. at St. Olaf's Catholic Church with the Rev. Frank Corradi officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery, town of Washington.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Prayer Service Thursday and an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
