Graveside services for Gerald H. Kotz, 74, of Davenport, will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 804 E. 39th St., Davenport. Per Gerald's wishes, the rite of cremation has been accorded and there will be no visitation. Gerald passed away unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, at his home.

Gerald Hubert Kotz was born Nov. 14, 1942, in Davenport, a son of Al and Mable (Knudtson) Kotz. He retired from Nichols-Homeshield Aluminum Co. He attended St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and enjoyed dinners with his neighbors, Jose and Jennifer, and lunches with his friend, Tina, at the Isle.

Those left to honor Gerald include his siblings, Steve Kotz of Rockford, Illinois, Jim Kotz, of Presho, South Dakota; and sister, Mrs. Mary Haiston, Fort Pierre, South Dakota. He was preceded in death by his parents, Al Kotz and Mable Horsely, and brothers, Austin and Paul Kotz. May they rest in peace.
