MRS. PATRICK O'MEARA

 

Mrs. Elizabeth O'Meara, widow of Patrick O'Meara, died on Tuesday at her home, 126 Creighton street in her 97th year. She was one of the pioneer residents of Fallowfield, being born and having lived there practically all her life until moving to Ottawa fifteen years ago to reside with a nephew. Her husband taught school in Fallowfield for over fifty years. She was the last surviving member of her generation and leaves one adopted daughter, Mrs. Alice Byrne and some nephews and nieces. Mrs. (Dr.) Spearman of Ottawa is a grand niece. The funeral took place this morning from St. Patrick's Church, Fallowfield.
