Doris E. Mich, 82, formerly of Brighton, late of Racine, died in St. Mary's Medical Center, on Thursday (June 17, 1999).

She was born in Brighton, on Aug. 22, 1916, the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Richter) Daniels. She lived in Racine since 1940.

On June 29, in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Brighton, she married Harry A. Mich.

She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, and a former member of St. Edward's Catholic Church. She enjoyed the company of her family and friends.

Surviving are her husband Harry; three sons, the Rev. Kenneth Mich of Menomonee Falls, Steve and Randy, both of Racine; one daughter, Marlene Hegeman of Walnut Creek, Calif.; a brother, Everett Daniels of Kenosha; two sisters, Edna Reiter, LaVerne Drissell, both of Kenosha; 11 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by twin sons, Joseph and John, and by her sisters, Lonetta Weis and Loyola Wack.

Draeger Langendorf Funeral Home, Racine, is in charge of arrangements.


MICH - Funeral services for the late Mrs. Doris E. Mich who passed away Thursday, June 17, 1999, will be held on Saturday, June 19th, in St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 5700 Washington Ave., Racine. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., with her son Rev. Kenneth Mich officiating. Visitation will be in the Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the Vigil Service being conducted at 7:45 p.m. and in the Church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery Garden Crypts. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials to either St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church or St. Edward's Catholic Church.
