Everette Wm. Daniels

 

Everett Wm. Daniels, age 77, of Brighton, died February 1, 2001 at Oak Ridge Care Center in Union Grove. He was born on April 30, 1923 in Brighton, to Joseph and Laura (nee Richter) Daniels.

He attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Grade School and was a lifetime resident of Brighton. On August 25, 1945 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church he married Dorothy Weis. They resided in Brighton following marriage. Everett was a dairy farmer in Brighton for over 60 years. He was a lifetime member, an usher, and a parish council member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Everett was a volunteer for the church and school. He belonged to: the Catholic order of the Foresters #1570 of Brighton, the A.M.P.I., the A.S.C.S., the A.D.A., the Advisory Board for the Bank of Burlington, Paddock Lake Branch, he was a Board Member of the Kenosha County Mutual Insurance Co., a member 01 the Farm Bureau, and the Union Grove Knights of Columbus. Everett enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife: Dorothy of Brighton; 5 daughters: Anita Christensen of Paddock lake, Jeanine (Jim) Inwood of Milton, WI, Ellen (Lynn Torrey) Daniels of Paddock Lake, Catherine (Ed Brzinskj) Daniels of Lake Geneva, and Ann (Stephen) Abel of Pleasant Prairie; 3 Sons: Joseph of Union Grove, Gary of Brighton and Myron (Doreen) Daniels of Brighton; 2 Sisters: Edna Reiter of Brighton and LaVerne Drissel of Paris; Surviving In-Laws: Rosemary Weis, Alvin (Loretta) Weis, and Rosemary (Arthur) Daniels all of Burlington, Edna Weis and Harry Mich, both of Racine, Bernard (Erna) Weiss and Lucille Weiss both of Union Grove, and John Eppers of Brighton. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters: Lunetta (Francis) Weis, Loyola (Ed) Wack, and Doris Mich; In-laws: Jerome Drissel, Wendolyn Reiter, Marcella Eppers, Fred Weis, Nick Weis, Rosemary Weis, and Gilbert Weis.

Mass of Christian burial will take place Monday, February 5, 2001 at 11:00 AM in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Brighton with Rev. James Volkert officiating. Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Friends may call at the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home on Sunday, February 4, 2001 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 6:00 PM Prayer Vigil. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, or to Providence School.
