Kenneth W. Robers, 74, passed away at his residence on Thursday, July 11, 2002.

He was born in Burlington on February 15, 1928, to Leo Frank and Florence Ann (Nee: Richter) Robers and was a Kenosha resident. He was united in marriage to Mary D. (Nee: DeLaat) Robers on February 14, 1953, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kenosha.

He attended Kenosha County Schools and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas School in 1943. Kenneth was employed by Nash Motors/American Motors/ Chrysler Corporation retiring as a a general Foreman in 1987. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where he was an usher and member of the Holy Name Society, life member of VFW #1865. He was very active in scouting serving as a Cub Scout leader and Webelos leader with Pack 12 and Scout Master and Scout Leader with troop 551. He was also a member of the Order of the Arrow; was awarded the Southeast Wisconsin District Award of Merit in 1976 and the Bronze Pelican Award.

Survivors include his wife Mary; daughter, Mary Beth Robers of Racine; sons, Stephen A. (Pamela) Robers, James L, (Jayne DeFilippis) Robers, Kenneth P. (Marilyn) Robers all of Kenosha, Lawrence J. (Andrea) Robers of Yorkville, Russell E. (Jami) Robers of Sioux Falls, S.D., David W. Robers of Kenosha and William W. (Heather) Robers of Racine; 16 grandchildren; and sisters; Helen Hasselman, Jeanette Koehne, and Marilyn Szymanski of Kenosha. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Evelyn Hart; and one Brother Joseph at birth.

Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be at Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3770 39th Avenue on Monday, July 15, 2002, from 5 until 8 p.m. Memorials to St. Mary Catholic Church, American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
