Age 93. Passed away Sunday, December 12, 1993, at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged in Munster, Wis. He was born on January 15, 1900, to Joseph and Gertrude (Nee: May) Epping. On February 7, 1923, in St. Charles Catholic Church in Burlington, Wis., he married the former Leona Richter, who preceded him in death. Mr. Epping had been employed by the MacWhyte Company in Kenosha for six years, retiring in 1968. He had farmed in Kenosha County for most of his life. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Kenosha, and a 76-year member of National Catholic Society of Foresters. He is survived by: four sons, Charles and Dale of Kenosha, Claude of Salem, Wis., Norman of Waunakee, Wis.; five daughters, Esther Schmidt of Waunakee, Wis., Romayne Zeihen of Waupaca Wis., Lillian Roberts of St. Louis, Mo., Judith Schmidt of Brookfield, Wis., and Barbara Wisnefski of Kenosha; 53 grandchildren and 91 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, 7400 39th Avenue, Kenosha, Wis., on Tuesday, December 14, 1993, at 7 p.m. Burial at All Saints Cemetery, Kenosha. Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kenosha.
