Lawrence B. Meyer, 86, of Kansasville, died Sunday (Jan. 19, 2003) at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha.
Born in Paris Dec. 1, 1916, he was the son of late John V. and Magdalena (Fox) Meyer. He attended Marsh School in Bristol.
On Nov. 8, 1941, he married Arlene Luke at St. Alphonsus Church in New Munster. She died April 7, 1996.
He worked at Simmons Company; Pure Milk Association for 19 years; and retired after 20 years of employment with Ken-Crete Products.
He was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish of Union Grove.
Survivors include six sons, William of Fond du Lac, David of Madison, Roger of Kenosha, Gregory (Cindy) of Harvard, Ill., Richard of Bristol, and Joseph (Tammy) of Bristol; five daughters, Elizabeth "Betty" (David) Houtz of Somers, Jeanne Capello of Arlington, Va., Karen (Mike) Herbert of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Myra Kitterman of Babson Park, Fla., Rita (Richard) Kiteley of Frisco, Colo.; two sisters, Eleanore (Thomas) Davies of Bristol, and Dorothea Schafer of Murphy, N.C. and Punta Gorda, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.

MEYER - Family and friends of Lawrence B. Meyer, 86, Kansasville, are invited to meet at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish of Union Grove (3320 S. Colony Ave.) on Saturday, January 25, 2003 for a visitation from 8:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Howard Haase officiating. Burial will take place in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Brighton. The family has suggested memorials to either Special Olympics of Wisconsin or the American Heart Association.
