Mrs. Marcell (Coletta) Kerkman, 70, 640 12th Ave., Union Grove, died Saturday at St. Mary's Medical Center, Racine.
The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William (Agnes Lois) Rossmiller, she was born on July 2, 1912 in the Town of Wheatland.
On Feb. 7, 1934, in New Munster, she married Marcell Kerkman.
The couple farmed in the Burlington and Brighton area before moving to Union Grove in 1950. She retired in 1979 as a cook from Mount Carmel Care Center, Burlington.
She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Union Grove, and the Mission and Women's Clubs of the parish.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Ronald, Union Grove, Roger, Westerville, Ohio, and Richard, Burlington; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Jean) Lois, Union Grove; a brother, Harold, New Munster, 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Martin, Edmund and Hieron.
KERKMAN—Funeral services for the late Mrs. Marcell (Coletta Rossmiller) Kerkman, of Union Grove, will be held Wed., March 16th with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Hwy. 45, Union Grove. Interment in Union Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-9 P.M. at the Polnasek Funeral Home, 908 11th Ave, Union Grove, WI. with Scripture Service at 4:30 P.M. & Rosary Vigil at 8 P.M. Memorials to either St. Robert Church or Union Grove—Yorkville Rescue Squad have been suggested by her family.
