Kathryn Kaskie, 97, of Lennox, S.D., and formerly, of Rock Valley, died Saturday, November 16, 1991, at a hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Magdalen's Catholic Church in Lennox, with the Rev. Leonard Fox officiating. A graveside service was held at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Rock Valley, with the Rev. Donald Smith officiating. Dindot-Klusmann Funeral Home of Lennox was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kaskie was born March 14, 1894, in Carroll. She married Leo Kaskie Oct 26, 1926, in Howard, S.D. The couple farmed near Rock Valley. He died in 1956 and she moved to Lennox in 1963.
Survivors include three sons, Bernard of Lennox, Donald of Forest, Miss., and Leonard of Rock Valley; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Sally) Paul, of Sioux Falls; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
