BEERS - KASKIE
The marriage of Miss Ida Pearl Kaskie and Mr. Peter Beers was solemnized at St. Mary's Catholic church Tuesday morning, at nine o'clock. Rev. Father O'Rielly, pastor, officiating.
Miss Addie Kaskie, sister of the bride was bridesmaid, and Mr. Beers, brother of the groom, was groomsman. The bride was beautifully attired in white and carried a bou[qu]et of pink roses. The altar was [de]corated in green, white and pink. [M]iss Anna Henningfeld played the [wed]ding march, while the near rel[ative]s of the contracting parties [were p]resent to congratulate them [...] as the ceremony was over.
[Miss] Kaskie is the eldest daughter [of Mr. a]nd Mrs. William Kaskie and [...]d favorably known to scores [...] While the groom is a [...] the writer, he has a [...f]riends in and about Al[...]me. Services Wednesday For Howard Pioneer Peter Beers, 80
HOWARD
Funeral services for Peter Beers, will be in St. Agatha Catholic Church Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Fr. H. P. Kolbeck will officiate.
Beers, pioneer Miner County farmer, died at his home in Green Valley Sunday, Dec. 16.
He was born in Holland Jan. 15, 1876 and came to the United States when 18 years old. He lived at Bridgewater and Kennebec before moving to Miner County.
Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Kuhle; four sons, Walter, Angelo, and Paul of Howard, and Vincent, Des Moines, Ia.; and 12 grandchildren.
Rosary will be said in Beers home tonight, Tuesday, Dec 18, at 8:30 p.m.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Willoughby Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements.
