Ray J. Kaskie Rites Thursday
Services for Ray J. Kaskie, 69, of 701 Ovid ave., who died of a heart attack Sunday in a hospital at Hayward, Wis., where he was vacationing, will be at 9 a. m. Thursday at All Saints Catholic Church. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
A native of Rock Valley, Mr. Kaskie had lived here since 1915. He had been an electrical contractor for many years and later was employed at the Biermann University Electric Co. He was a member of All Saints Church and the Knights of Columbus.
The rosary will be said at 8 p. m. Wednesday at the Caldwell-Brien Funeral Home.
Surviving are his widow, Gertrude; five sons, Clark of La Marque, Tex., Claude of Alton, Ill., Clifford of St. Louis, Mo., Charles of Marshalltown and Carl J. of Muskegon, Mich.; a brother Everett of Des Moines and 26 grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the heart fund or All Saints Church.
