Services were held last Monday morning for Mrs. Adolph Trebon at the St. Mary's church who passed out of this life October 9, 1936.
Anne Kaske was born in Buchanan County near Fairbank, Iowa, where she spent her girlhood, moved to Storm Lake at the age of fourteen years. She lived there for three years with her brother before coming to this vicinity where she married Adolph Trebon in 1890. They made their home near Hudson S. D. for two years and on a farm west of Rock Valley. They moved to their present home in Rock Valley thirty-seven years ago.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, A. Trebon, two daughters Miss Eva Trebon of Rock Valley and Mrs. Lawrence Richter in the Hudson vicinity, one sister Mrs. Reith Of Goshen, Indiana and two grandchildren, Richard and Robert Richter of Hudson, S. D.
Interment was made in St. Mary's cemetery where the regular burial ritual was used at the grave. Besides a wide circle of relatives, Mrs. Trebon will be missed by her many friends among whom she has lived these many years.

Mrs. Adam Trebon died at her home in Rock Valley Friday evening. Mrs. Trebon had been ill for several years. Mrs. Trebon was an old resident of Rock Valley.
She is survived by her husband and two daughters Mrs. Laurence Richter and Miss Eva Trebon of Rock Valley.
Funeral services for Mrs. Trebon were held in St. Mary's Catholic church in Rock Valley, Monday morning. Burial was made in the Catholic cemetery.

PASSING OF MRS. A. TREBON
Funeral services were held in St. Mary's church at 9:30 Monday morning for Mrs. Adolph Trebon, who passed away at her home here Friday night. Though not well for some time, she was seriously ill but a short time before her death.
Anna Kaskie was born in 1872 in Buchanan county, near Fairbank, Ia. There she spent her girlhood, coming to Storm Lake at the age of 14. After living there for three years with her brother, she came to this vicinity where she was married to Adolph Trebon in 1890.
They lived near Hudson for two years then on a farm west of Rock Valley where they resided until moving to town 37 years ago.
She is survived by her husband and two children, Miss Eva of Rock Valley and Mrs. Lawrence Richter, of near Hudson, one sister, Mary Reith of Goshen, Indiana, and two grandchildren, Richard and Robert Richter of Hudson.
Mrs. Trebon's death leaves a deep sorrow in the hearts of the many who knew her for a sincere and trustworthy friend. Her cheery smile, her unflinching devotion to the sick and needy and her own patient forebearance during many years of suffering were an inspiration to all around her..
She was a faithful and ardent Catholic and a member of the various church societies which she served with unswerving devotion to the very last.
Funeral services were followed by burial in St. Mary's cemetery. Relatives and friends attending the funeral were Gus Trebon, Mrs. John Beierschmitt and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Beierschmitt of Fairbank, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Berger and daughter, Helen, of Sioux City; Miss Adeline Kaskie, Lawrence Raskie and Mr and Mrs. Vincent Kaskie of Montrose, S. D.; Joe Kaskie of Madison, S. D. , Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kaskie, of Mitchell, S. D.; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Beers and Mrs. Joseph Kuhle of Howard, S. D.; and Mrs. E. F. Kaskie, Mrs. Josephine Lowell, Des Moines, Iowa; Mrs. Clarence Ogden, Lennox, S. D.; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Clay, Mrs. Wm. Engel and Mrs. Rasmussen, Beresford, S. D.; Mrs. Joe Zembseh, Sioux City.
