Ella Kaskie, 83, died Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital.

Ella Kappenman was born Aug. 25, 1898, in Dolton, S.D., and married Vincent Kaskie in 1917. Her husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Joseph, Sioux Falls; three daughters, Mrs. Keith (Marge) Kersey, Sioux Falls; Mrs. Roy (Alyce) Palmer, Sacramento, Calif., and Sister Mary Ellen, Miles City, Mont.; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Leo and Lewis, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Flynn, all of Sioux Falls.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. today at Holy Family Catholic Church, Mitchell. Will Funeral Home, Mitchell, is in charge of arrangements.
