Marcella Marie "Sally" Kaskie, daughter of Leo F. and Kathryn (Grant) Kaskie, was born October 2, 1932 in Rock Valley, IA. Sally grew up at Rock Valley and graduated from high school there.
She was united in marriage with Edward Paul on September 15, 1962 in Sioux Falls, SD. After their marriage the couple owned and operated Ed's 11th Street Vacuums for many years. Ed preceded her in death on November 20, 1995. After Ed's death, Sally continued to operate the business until retiring in 2004. Even in retirement Sally kept quite busy working as a Senior Companion and also working part-time for special events at the Sioux Falls Arena.
Sally was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral, Sioux Falls.
Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Mark (Tracey) Paul, Otsego, MN; four grandchildren, Alexander, Amber, Lindsey, and Tanner Paul, Otsego, MN; three brothers, Bernard (Joyce) Kaskie, Lennox, SD, Donald (Pat) Kaskie, Forest, MS, Leonard Kaskie, Inwood, IA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband Ed, Sally was preceded in death by an infant son Craig, another son; and a sister-in-law, Dolores Kaskie.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family for lunch and fellowship at St. Joseph Cathedral following the committal service.
