Edward L. Paul, 65, of 823 W. 11th Street, a vacuum cleaner store owner, died Monday, Nov. 20, 1995, at his home, of cancer.
Mr. Paul was born Aug. 29, 1930, in Green Valley, Minn. He moved with his family to Waverly, Minn., where he grew up and attended school. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. After his discharge he lived in several places before moving to Sioux Falls in 1962.
He married Marcella M. "Sally" Kaskie on Sept. 15, 1962, in Sioux Falls. They lived in several cities before settling in Sioux Falls in 1969. They operated Ed's 11th Street Vacuum.
He was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral and Alcoholics Anonymous.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Mark Paul Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Timothy Cummiskey of Slayton, Minn.; four grandchildren; one brother, Herbert of Grand Forks, N.D.; and one sister, Helen Engel of Mayer, Minn.
Services begin at 1 p.m. today at St. Joseph Cathedral, with burial in St. Michael Cemetery.
Visitation is 8 a.m. to noon today at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls.
