Angelo I. Beers, 85, a retired farmer, died Wednesday, May 10, 1995, at the Good Samaritan Center in Howard.

Mr. Beers was born July 18, 1909, in Rock Valley, Iowa. He grew up on the family farm. He lived for farming and had farmed until 1980, where he retired and moved into Howard. He became a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in 1990.

He was a member of St. Agatha Catholic Church and the American Legion in Howard.

He is survived by nieces and nephews.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Howard, with burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Willoughby Funeral Home in Howard. Visitation will continue at 6:30 p.m. at the church, with a scripture service at 7:30 p.m.
