Walter Kerkman, three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Kerkman, passed away at St. Mary's hospital, Racine, early Friday morning. The remains were taken to Burlington and then to the home. Funeral services were held at St. Alphonsus church, New Munster, Monday morning, Rev. Wurm officiating, and burial in the St. Alphonsus cemetery. He is survived by his parents and one sister, Ella May. Their many friends extended their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved parents.

Walter, the three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Kerkman, passed away at St. Mary's hospital in Racine, where the little one had been confined for a week. Funeral services were held from St. Alphonsus' church Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock with interment in the Catholic cemetery. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved parents in their hour of sorrow.
