Elida Marie Rossmiller, 89, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at Mount Carmel Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Burlington.
She was born March 27, 1914, in Spring Prairie to William and Zella (nee: Munroe) Scheibe. She spent her early life in Burlington. She married Charles Rossmiller on 17, 1949, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Burlington. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1970.
She received her education at Lake Geneva Grade School and High School. She was a Homemaker, a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, and a Cook for the Rectory at the church. She loved her flower garden and she greatly enjoyed watching the birds.
Elida is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Walter, Clarence, and Claude Scheibe; and three sisters, Isabel Roanhaus, Frances Weinzinger, and Edith Schneider.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Catholic Church in Burlington on Saturday, June 7, 2003, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jan Kieliszewski officiating. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at St. Catholic Church on Saturday from 9 until 11 a.m.
