DEATH
The death of the 11 months old little gir1 of J. H. Smith and wife occured last Thursday. The funeral took place last Friday afternoon, at the Catholic church. The child took very sick on Wednesday by vomiting, and a Dr. was called. The child was considered improving, but on Thursday took worse and died very suddenly. Not death but having to live without our loved ones is awful.
The nine-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Smith northwest of town died last Thursday evening of heart failure after an illness of only a few hours. The funeral took place at Alvord last Friday. The parents have the sympathy of all in the hour of their sad bereavement.
