Charles Buckley Of Maurice-Ohio Girl Wed December 19th
Mrs. Louella O. Boehm of 13912 Clifton Blvd. Lakewood, Ohio announce the marriage of her daughter, Virginia Belle, to Airman First Class Charles William Buckley, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Buckley of Maurice, on December 19, 1953 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Daytona Beach, Florida.
The Reverend Father Elmer Wajtonowski officiated at the ceremony.
The bride wore a ballerina length dress of white chantilly lace over blush satin and carried a bouquet of white carnations and a white prayer book. Her matron of honor, Mrs. Robert Lee, wore a ballerina length dress of green and carried a bouquet of yellow carnations.
The best man was Sgt. Robert E. Lee. Mr. Vinal D. Cox gave the bride away and Mrs. Thos. E. Spain played the organ during the service.
Mrs. Morton W. Bowen represented the bride's mother at the wedding and chose a grey dress with a pink carnation corsage.
Following the wedding an informal reception was held at the home of Mrs. Morton W. Bowen of 115 Minerva Road, Daytona Beach, Florida.
Airman and Mrs. Charles William Buckley left for Lakewood, Ohio, following the reception, where they visited the bride's family. They spent the New Year's holiday at the home of the groom's family, in Maurice.
Mr. Buckley is presently stationed at Patrick Air Force Base, Cocoa, Florida, and the couple will make their home there following their wedding trip.

Virginia Buckley, 72, of Maurice died Friday, November 10, at Happy Siesta Retirement Home in Remsen following a long illness.
Services were at 10 a.m. Monday, November 13, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Struble. The Rev. William Schrieber and the Rev. John McGuirk concelebrated the Mass. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Maurice.
Mrs. Buckley was born September 8, 1923, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of William and Louella (Oblinger) Boehm. She attended elementary and high school in Lakewood, Ohio, and graduated from Ohio State University in 1946. She married Charles BuckJey on December 19, 1953, at St. Augustine, Florida. Since their marriage, the couple fanned in the Maurice area.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society In Maurice.
Survivors Include her husband; three daughters, Ann Lill and her husband Ronnie of Le Mars, Mary Klein and her husband Randy of Sioux Falls and Molly Johnson of Sioux Falls; two sons, Bob Buckley and his wife Kerri Jo of Maurice and Tom Buckley of Chicago; one sister, Marjorle Krapf of Lakewood: and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Billy; and a brother, Richard Boehm.
