Agnes M. Schmitz. 60, of 2578 McFeeley-Petry Road, New Weston, died at 3:24 a.m. Sunday at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Schmitz was born June 25, 1932, in Darke county, daughter of John and Helen (Fink) Kramer. Also deceased are three sisters and two brothers.
A graduate of Jackson High School in Darke County, she was a 4-H adviser for 31 years.
Surviving are her husband, Cletus, to whom she was married May 21, 1955, in Sharpsburg; two daughters, Mrs. Grahame (Karen) Ruddock of Clinton, N.C.. and Diana Schmitz, at home; one son, Donald of New Weston; two foster children, Mrs. Scott (Virginia) Gottfried of Kirby, Ohio, and David Kramer of Orrville, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Hilda Schmitz and Mrs. Ralph (Alvera) Schmitz, both of New Weston, Mark Kramer of Ansonia, Rose Brown of St. Marys, Mrs. Ralph (Edna) Koesters of Celina, Nick Kramer of Plainview, Texas; Henry Kramer of Union City, Luke Kramer of Baltimore, Md., and Joe Kramer of Coldwater.
Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, with the Rev. David Hoying officiating and burial following in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
