LORETTO, Tenn.
Mrs. Virginia Rose Henkel, 70, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 1989, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, Florence, Ala., after a short illness.
She was a native of Lawrence County, Tenn., and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Loretto. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Kevin Dowling officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Loretto Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. The rosary will be repeated at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Cornelius A. "Neal" Henkel, Loretto; sons, Ronald Henkel, Gary Henkel, both of Loretto; daughters, Connie Passarella, Loretto; Sheila Frisbie, Lawrenceburg; brothers, Joseph Meyer, Nashville: Charlie Meyer, St. Louis, Mo.; sisters, Frances Neidert, Loretto, Annie Kerstiens, Kate Rohjing, Elizabeth Fischer, all of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren.
